2023 Summer Social Series - Juneteenth & Father's Day Celebration

Join us for a celebratory brunch, panel discussion and wellness experience in partnership with TheBlackManCan, TheDadGang Stockx.

On this day, we bridge the gap across the diaspora by promoting the advancement of black unity, black business, black freedom, black leadership through the celebration of black fathers and their contributions to future generations.

In partnership with TheBlackManCan, join us as we facilitate a dialogue to raise awareness of how our community comes together to change the stigmas surrounding blackness and fatherhood alongside Sean Williams of the Dad Gang, Roots of Brooklyn, and the Brothers of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc.

Join us as we host a celebratory brunch, panel discussion, and wellness experience on Father's Day, Sunday, June 18th from 2 - 7 pm at Gaia No Maya in Brooklyn, NY.

Along with great food, Gaia NoMaya promises to keep the drinks flowing with specialty cocktails -rose, summer punch , and mimosas; which is great because a portion of any drink, food, or services purchase will go directly to our cause.

In addition to the drinks, community, and summer vibes, we’re going to have @DJStrikah and @theLoungeInn aka DJShyGuy of @premiumvibezent curating the perfect mix of feel good music: from 90s and 2000s nostalgia to the high energy of AfroBeats and Amapiano sound that’s taken the world by storm!

In addition we will be promoting black businesses at the Summer Social Series such as @B'FlybyStaciSherrie.

Proceeds from this event will provide school supplies for underserved students in NYC. For more about how we're hoping to make education more accessible to students, check out our mission video.
